About the Job

AU Small Finance Bank is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager – Legal. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and vetting agreements and vendor contracts, providing legal advice, supporting regulatory compliance, maintaining legal records, and coordinating with business and support functions.

Eligibility

LL.B. qualification.
2–3 years of relevant experience.
Strong legal drafting, review, and negotiation skills.
Ability to identify legal risks and recommend practical solutions.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and work within timelines.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and vet agreements, outsourcing-related contracts, and other vendor agreements to protect the Bank’s interests.
Provide legal advice to internal teams on contractual, regulatory, and legal risk matters.
Support compliance with RBI regulations, banking laws, and other applicable legal requirements.
Maintain legal records, contract repositories, and related documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Coordinate with business and support functions for legal review and timely closure of agreements.
