About TRAI

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is a statutory body established under the TRAI Act, 1997 to regulate telecom services, protect stakeholder interests, and ensure orderly growth of the telecom and broadcasting sectors.

About the Internship

TRAI is inviting applications for its Internship Programme 2026-27 at its headquarters in New Delhi and regional offices. The internship aims to provide students with practical exposure to policy-making, research, and regulatory work in telecom, law, economics, and public policy.

Eligibility

• Students from recognized universities in India or abroad
• Minimum 60% marks in the last examination
• Law students (including those who have completed 2nd year at NLUs) are eligible
• Students from fields like Law, Technology, Economics, and Public Policy may apply

Duration

• Minimum: 2 months
• Extendable up to 3 months (in exceptional cases beyond this)

Stipend

₹10,000 per month (paid after completion of internship and submission of report)

Locations

• New Delhi (HQ)
• Regional Offices: Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Bhopal
