About the Internship
Delta Juris Advisors is inviting applications for the positions of Trainee Associate and Assessment Intern.
This opportunity is designed for candidates seeking meaningful exposure to real legal work rather than routine assignments. Selected candidates will work on live matters involving legal research, drafting, case support, document review, and legal analysis.
Based on role, experience, and capability, candidates may also assist co-counsels in jurisdictions such as the USA and Canada or independently handle core legal tasks.
The firm also offers a flexible remote working environment, expecting candidates to maintain high standards of work, clear communication, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Eligibility
For Associate
- LL.B. degree from a recognized institution
- Strong legal research and drafting skills
- Good command over written and spoken English
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Prior experience of 0-2 years in litigation, advisory, contracts, or legal drafting will be preferred
For Assessment Intern
- Law students in the 4th year and above of a 5-year course, or
- Law students in the 2nd year and above of a 3-year course, or
- Recent law graduates with strong research and drafting interest
- Good legal research and writing ability
- Seriousness, attention to detail, and willingness to learn through active work
Preferred Qualities
Integrity. Discipline. Ownership. Clarity. (Just these would help, But we hope you really will stick to these after working for a month)
Responsibilities
- Legal research on statutes, judgments, procedural law, and regulatory frameworks
- Drafting and reviewing notices, legal opinions, agreements, pleadings, applications, and internal legal notes
- Assisting in litigation support and matter management
- Preparing chronologies, issue notes, case summaries, evidence charts, and document bundles
- Reviewing case papers, contracts, and legal correspondence
- Supporting ongoing advisory and dispute-related matters
- Maintaining structured files, drafting discipline, and deadline management
- Assisting with jurisdiction-specific legal analysis and written work
Duration
- Long-term engagement preferred for both roles
- Internship duration should ideally be at least 5 to 6 months
Stipend
As per industry standards, depending on role, experience, skill, and overall fit.
