About the Internship

OakNorth Bank is offering an internship opportunity for the role of Intern – Legal TET (Legal & Transaction Management) in Gurugram on a hybrid basis.

The internship provides exposure to legal and transactional processes in the banking sector, including lending documentation, compliance, and stakeholder coordination.

Eligibility

• Currently pursuing a degree in Law, Finance, or a related field
• Strong interest in banking, lending, and legal documentation
• Excellent attention to detail and eagerness to learn
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Self-starter with curiosity and a proactive mindset

Responsibilities

• Assist the team in tracking deal milestones and preparing documentation for lending transactions
• Learn how loan agreements and security documents are structured and support reviews under supervision
• Shadow interactions with internal teams (Credit, Risk, Operations) and external counsel to understand execution workflows
• Help maintain transaction records and ensure proper filing of documentation
• Contribute ideas to improve efficiency and gain exposure to best practices in legal and financial operations
