About the Job

Parakram Legal is expanding its Mumbai team and is hiring for the following positions:

1. Associate – Tax Advisory & Transactions
2. Senior Associate

The roles provide exposure to complex tax, regulatory, corporate, and transactional matters, along with significant client interaction and responsibility from an early stage.

Position 1: Associate – Tax Advisory & Transactions

Experience

1–2 Years PQE

Required Experience

• Advising on direct tax matters.
• Exposure to domestic and international tax issues.
• Experience with transaction tax aspects of:
  • Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Investments
  • Corporate Restructuring
• Tax structuring and tax research.
• Drafting:
  • Tax Opinions
  • Memoranda
  • Advisory Notes

Preferred: Familiarity with corporate and regulatory aspects of transactions.

Position 2: Senior Associate

Experience

3–4+ Years PQE

Required Experience

• Advising on matters under:
  • Companies Act
  • FEMA
• Working on:
  • Venture Capital Transactions
  • Private Equity Transactions
  • Mergers & Acquisitions
• Experience in transaction structuring.

Preferred: Exposure to regulatory and tax considerations in transactions.
