About the Job

IndiaLaw LLP is hiring a full-time Legal Associate – Company Secretary for its Navi Mumbai office. The role involves supporting corporate legal and company secretarial functions, including legal drafting, regulatory compliance, ROC filings, and coordination on legal and compliance matters.

Eligibility

• LL.B. with Company Secretary (CS) qualification (Qualified/Professional Programme Passed) or an equivalent combination of legal and secretarial expertise.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Support corporate legal and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with Board Meetings, General Meetings, and the preparation of notices, agendas, and minutes.
• Handle ROC filings, maintain statutory registers, and ensure compliance under the Companies Act, 2013.
• Conduct legal research and maintain legal and secretarial records.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders on legal and compliance matters.

Navi Mumbai

Preference will be given to candidates based in Mumbai or Navi Mumbai.
