About the Job

Invesco is hiring for the role of Legal Analyst on a full-time basis. The selected candidate will work with the organisation’s global legal teams across Hyderabad, the United States, EMEA, APAC, and Canada.

The role involves supporting legal and regulatory matters, including drafting and reviewing agreements, maintaining legal documentation, assisting with corporate governance processes, handling legal notices and filings, and supporting investment fund documentation and compliance-related activities.

Eligibility

Candidates applying for the role should fulfil the following criteria:

• Degree in Law.
• 1–3 years of legal work experience, preferably with an investment advisor or mutual fund group in a legal or regulatory environment.
• Understanding of technology contract practices and standards is preferred.
• Corporate governance experience and training will be an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of back-office operations and securities laws and regulations will be a plus.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with legal teams across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions on joint projects and responsibilities.
• Drafting, analysing, reviewing, and negotiating agreements and amendments, including software licenses, SaaS/cloud agreements, vendor agreements, confidentiality agreements, and professional services agreements.
• Uploading agreements and amendments to online repositories and maintaining proper tagging and documentation.
• Responding to legal subpoenas, IRS summons, DOJ and Grand Jury subpoenas, restraining notices, LOIs, and garnishment notices.
• Updating fund disclosure documents for Retail and ETF Funds in coordination with global legal teams.
• Filing Post Effective Amendments to registration statements for Retail and ETF funds.
• Assisting with monthly and quarterly updates and filings related to Interval Fund Tender Offer forms.
• Conducting research on historic fund trades and assisting with reports for class action and bankruptcy litigation filings.
• Assisting in the disclosure of portfolio manager fund holdings and assets.
• Preparing board books, agendas, and post-board materials for fund boards.
• Preparing and updating disclosure documents for Institutional Private Funds.
• Reviewing and editing registration statements and disclosure documents for sub-advised funds.
• Supporting the derivatives legal team with ISDA amendments, account control agreements, FX Spot letters, and ISDA information updates.
• Reviewing compliance policies to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and legal or regulatory risks.
• Assisting with legal preparatory work, projects, and related responsibilities.
• Coordinating with overseas colleagues through verbal and written communication.

Work Timings
