About the Job

Brave Souls Foundation is looking for a Law Officer for our New Delhi Office. If you find yourself a good fit, do join them. 

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law
•  Min 3-5 years of experience in litigation.
•  Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
•  Understanding of the challenges faced by survivors of acid attack and gender-based violence and a strong commitment to human rights and social justice.
• Proficiency in client counselling, legal research and drafting.
• Proven practice in District Courts and High Court of Delhi.

Responsibilities

• Legal: Draft, manage, and represent the organisation in legal cases across courts and tribunals.
• Drafting: Drafting of Complaints, Writs, Petitions, Representations, etc.
• Coordination: Engage with survivors, raise awareness, build relationships, support advocacy, and document challenges with the legal team.
• Research: Conduct legal as well as non-legal research to explore potential opportunities for the organisation.

Remuneration

Full-time: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Part-time: Remuneration will depend on the nature and engagement of cases
