About the Job

The High Court of Judicature at Bombay has invited applications for preparing a select list of 24 candidates for appointment as Judicial Research Assistants on a contractual basis for one year at Mumbai, Nagpur, Aurangabad, and Kolhapur benches.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the following conditions:

• Law Graduates who have passed the LL.B. examination in the first attempt with a minimum of 55% marks, or
• Candidates possessing a Postgraduate Degree in Law.

Preference may be given to candidates holding an LL.M. degree.

Additional Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of computers/laptops and legal research software
• Age between 21 and 30 years as on the date of application

Number of Positions

24 Positions

 Honorarium

 ₹80,000 per month

Period of Appointment

• Initial appointment: 1 year
• Extendable by one additional year subject to approval and recommendation

Location 

The selected Judicial Research Assistants will be posted at Mumbai, Nagpur, Aurangabad and Kolhapur, according to
need.
