Garg & Garg Advocates is a litigation chamber headed by Ajay Garg. The chamber primarily practices before the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court, various District Courts, and Tribunals.

About the Internship/Job

The chamber is hiring Associates with litigation experience and is also accepting applications from fresh law graduates and law students for internship and trainee opportunities.

Selected candidates will gain exposure to active litigation practice, court proceedings, legal drafting, research work, and public interest initiatives.

Eligibility

Associates

Applicants should:

  • Be enrolled with the Bar Council
  • Possess 1 to 4 years of post-qualification experience in active litigation

Freshers and Interns

Applicants should:

  • Be recent law graduates or law students
  • Have a strong inclination towards litigation, research, and public interest advocacy

Common Requirements

All applicants should have:

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Strong foundational skills in legal research
  • Drafting skills relating to pleadings, writs, and petitions

Responsibilities

Selected candidates will be involved in:

  • Drafting pleadings, appeals, and written submissions for matters before the Supreme Court and High Court
  • Conducting legal research on civil, criminal, constitutional, and service law matters
  • Managing case files and briefing Senior Counsels
  • Handling routine appearances and registry/filing work across courts
  • Assisting with RKLAF initiatives, including research on gig economy issues and preparing legal awareness content for the #knowyourrights series

Mode

Physical/In-office, with regular court visits.

Duration

For interns, a minimum commitment of 4 weeks is required. The internship may be extended based on performance.

Freshers joining as junior associates will be subject to a standard probation period.

Number of Positions

The chamber is looking to engage:

  • 2 to 3 Associates
  • Freshers and interns for trainee and additional internship vacancies

Stipend/Salary

Associates (1–4 Years Experience)

₹20,000 to ₹40,000 per month, depending on prior experience and legal ability.

Freshers/Interns

A separate stipend structure will apply and will be discussed during the interview stage.

Work Timings

Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, subject to court schedules and case preparation requirements.

Location

B-5/152, Basement, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi – 110029, with frequent travel to the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, and Delhi District Courts.
