Position
Law Intern
Eligibility
- Students pursuing a 3-year LL.B. or 5-year B.A. LL.B. programme from a recognized institution.
- Strong legal research and legal writing skills.
- Good communication and analytical abilities.
- Basic knowledge of legal research databases such as SCC Online or Manupatra is preferred.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research using statutes, case law, and legal databases.
- Assist in drafting legal notices, petitions, affidavits, written submissions, and other legal documents.
- Observe court proceedings and maintain case notes.
- Assist in case preparation and file management.
- Analyse judgments and prepare summaries of legal precedents.
- Support advocates with day-to-day litigation-related work.
Skills Preferred
- Attention to detail.
- Time management.
- Professional ethics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and legal drafting.
