Application Process

I applied for the internship by sending my resume to his mail address. He responded within a day by asking me to fill out a questionnaire as a part of the chamber’s internship assessment. He confirmed my internship within a day after scrutinizing my answers.

Office Timings

I did an evening internship. Timings are from 4.30 PM to 8.30 PM on weekdays. On Saturday, the time is from 10.30 AM to 8.30 PM.

First Day Formalities

I was introduced to all associates of the chamber. I was also informed about the work I was expected to do and all the journals and databases available in the office.

Main Tasks

I was instructed to do research on ongoing cases undertaken by the office. I was also instructed to draft various documents like notices, affidavits, writ petitions, etc.

Work Environment

All the associates in the chamber are very cordial. Raghul Sir always gave me a brief outline of the work to be done and also explained to me the relevance of the research before letting me start the work. He clarifies all doubts patiently if we have any while doing the work. He is quite strict with the deadlines and he expects the interns to be punctual and submit the work within the deadline.

Good Things

He is very understanding and considerate about my schedules and work in college and gives me a break whenever there are university exams or other work in college. He is more like a mentor to the interns than a senior in the chamber.

Bad Things

There was no bad thing.

Stipend

A decent stipend is given every month. All the office expenses incurred, if any, will be reimbursed on the same day.
