How did you apply?

I had a voice call on firm’s contact number available on the official website of the Law Firm whereby I was instructed to send my CV via the E-Mail ID provided to me and after 3 days I got a confirmation mail for joining.

Work profile/Main tasks

1. Attending virtual court proceedings before the Supreme court and Delhi High Court.
2. Managing a folder of various orders passed in a case list provided.
3. Typing various legal documents as and when required.
4. Case Law Research on various areas of Law including but not limited to Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Civil Law, Corporate Law, and Employment Law.

Work environment

It was a virtual Internship so I was connected via Phone calls and WhatsApp groups whereby I was asked to do the work as per the requirement.

All the seniors I had got the opportunity to interact with were very kind and were ready to help whenever I asked for the same.

Whenever I submit any work, the respected seniors used to encourage and in case any correction is required they asked me to correct and resend.

Good things

Enhanced my Research, Drafting, Management, Typing, and Time Management Skills.

Got to know about various provisions of IPC, CPC, and CrPC and how they are applied in a case at hand.

Also took note of some of the Landmark Judgements of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

It was a good networking opportunity with fellow interns and employees working at the Law Firm for which I am grateful to the firm.
