My internship with Deeksha Ma’am was captivating and no doubt it went as an entryway opener for me to the vast domain of law I got familiar with litigation and methodology in the internship which helped me understand my subjects better. Documenting of Writ Petition, doing studies on an assortment of cases and Judgements, speaking with clients, in short it gave a sense of a growing advocate.
In the start there had been mistakes, however within some days, the mistakes became uncommon because of a kind and appreciative guidance of Deeksha Ma’am. The other reason for fewer mistakes was the however the choice to progress and to be up to the mark assumed a significantly larger part in progress. In affiliation with the ideal guide and senior, this type of preference comes from inside and this is the greatest aid of my internship with Deeksha Ma’am.
During this internship, I assisted in researching, drafting, and preparing various plaints, supplications, notices, petitions, appeals, etc. as well as accompanied her to proceedings and registrations in various Courts, Tribunals, and Sub-Registrar offices in Bangalore, including City Civil Court, Mayo Hall, Magistrate Court, Consumer Forum, Family Court, Railway Claims Tribunal, etc. Along with this, we worked on framing a legal opinion for a web-based bakery course on the side.
Did an extensive case law and statutory research on the Consumer protection act, IPC, Corporate law, Personal Law, Business and Commercial Law, Negotiable Instruments Act, Indian Contract Act; case law research on international arbitration and online right to information processes.
This Internship gave me the ability to work independently and as part of a team in an organized manner. Also made me understand how large businesses work and how to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients; the ability to assimilate new information and adapt to a commercial environment.
No stipend was being provided during the course of internship.
Internship are of maximum importance in a law scholar’s life. It isn’t just the range of abilities that increases, but also the important experience which one acquires over the time of an internship. This experience will not just assist a law student in becoming progressive but would additionally help us familiarize with conceivable instability.
