How did you apply?

  1. Applied via LinkedIn – I had saw a post on LinkedIn in which it was instructed to send the CV.
  2. I had sent my CV with a short note as to why I want to join the firm and after an hour I had received a phone call where I had given my Interview in which my previous experience and skillset was asked.
  3. And the next day I was added to the WhatsApp group for further communication as it was a Virtual Internship.

Work profile/Main tasks

  1. Case Law Research on cases pertaining to Arbitartion, Civil, Criminal, Matrimonial and Banking Law.
  2. Drafting of The Quash Petition, Set Aside Petition, Reply Affidavit, Writ Appeal, Summons, Cover Letters, Deposit Letter, Sec. 7 Application of IBC, Writ Affidavit, Letters, Essays, Caveat, etc.
  3. Attending Virtual G meets to listen the experience of Partners of the firm,
  4. One day physical Intern to assist my senior in one of the matters listed at the District court in Haryana.
  5. Wrote an article related to Anti–Defection Law.
  6. Proofreading of various documents as and when required.
  7. Keeping a track of case status for the cases listed.

Work environment

  1. This internship was a virtual Internship but it’s equally challenging and accordingly I consider it one of the best Internships I had done.
  2. In Interview itself I was asked that whether I will be able to devote time or not since the firm had a lot of work to do.
  3. It’s challenging for someone who have never did any Internship in a Law Firm but it’s equally good since it’s gives us an exposure as to how practising Advocates work and the amount of effort they give regularly.
  4. It was a good learning experience throughout.

Good things

  1. Enhanced my Google Browsing, Drafting, Research, and Time Management Skills.
  2. At least 2 Meetups were called by a respected Partner of the Firm to share his experience and to acquaint us with the practical application of the law.

Bad things

No bad things

Stipend (If any)

No Stipend.
