Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM), one of India’s leading full-service law firms, has made a significant recruitment drive by hiring 114 freshers from the 2024 graduating batches of various prestigious law schools across the country. The recruitment was conducted through a combination of campus placements and pre-placement offers (PPOs). Out of the 114 freshers, 48 were recruited directly through campus placements, while 66 received PPOs. 

An encouraging aspect of this recruitment drive is the gender diversity among the hires. Out of the 114 freshers, 63 are female and 51 are male. This near-equitable gender distribution aligns with the broader industry trend towards promoting diversity and inclusion within the legal profession.

• Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar (GNLU): Leading the pack with 18 hires, GNLU continues to be a key source of talent for CAM.
• National Law School of India University, Bangalore (NLSIU): Known for its academic rigor, NLSIU saw 12 of its students recruited.
• West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata (WBNUJS) and Jindal Global Law School, Sonipat (JGLS): Both institutions contributed 11 students each, highlighting their growing reputation in the legal education landscape.
• National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), Hyderabad and Government Law College, Mumbai (GLC): Each of these institutions saw 10 of their students joining CAM.
• National Law Institute University, Bhopal (NLIU Bhopal): 5 students were recruited from this esteemed institution.
• National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) and National Law University, Jodhpur (NLUJ): These universities had 4 and 3 students respectively, moving to CAM.
• Other Law Schools: A diverse group of 30 students from various other institutions also made it into the firm.
