DSNLU 2025 Placements: 35 of 65 Placed; Trilegal and India Juris Lead Recruiters

Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU), Visakhapatnam, today announced the successful conclusion of its 2025 placement season. A record 65 students registered for recruitment drives conducted by the University’s Recruitment and Career Cell (RCC) and non-RCC channels, out of which 35 candidates secured offers across leading law firms, corporate legal departments, government offices and academic fellowships.

  • Total Applicants: 65
  • Total Placements (RCC + non-RCC): 35
  • Placement Rate: 54%
  • Higher Studies / Fellowships / Research Associate: 4 (ongoing)

The placement season opened in February 2025, with preliminary workshops on interview skills, résumé writing and moot court demonstrations conducted by faculty and alumni mentors. Over a span of three months, companies and chambers visited the campus for written tests, case-study presentations and personal interviews.

  • Trilegal and India Juris led the pack by each extending offers to three DSNLU graduates.
  • Prominent national firms Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas each onboarded one student, reflecting sustained demand for corporate litigation and transactional expertise.
  • International-affiliated outfits Dentons Link Legal (2 hires) and TLH Advocates & Solicitors (2 hires) also featured among top recruiters, signalling interest from practices with pan-India and global networks.
  • Boutique practices and specialist chambers such as Shreya Rao Associates, Hyderabad Law Chambers, Imperial Law Offices and Vira Legal each recruited one candidate, underscoring DSNLU students’ adaptability across practice areas from arbitration to policy research.

In addition, several technology and services firms, including Abhyaas Edu Technologies and NIIT Technologies, made inaugural campus visits, reflecting the growing intersection of law and technology.
