About the Internship

KredX is offering a full-time Corporate Legal Internship for a period of three months. The internship provides practical exposure to corporate legal functions, contract management, regulatory compliance, litigation support, legal documentation, and legal research.

Law graduate.

Responsibilities

Contract Management & Documentation

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining commercial contracts, non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, and standard templates.
• Support contract execution, including coordination for signing, stamping, and record management.
• Track contract validity, renewals, and amendments.

Regulatory & Compliance Support

• Assist in understanding and implementing RBI compliance requirements relevant to fintech and NBFC-linked operations.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of compliance checklists, registers, and internal trackers.
• Assist in responding to routine legal and compliance queries from internal teams.

Litigation & Court Filings

• Assist in court and tribunal filings, including preparation of applications, affidavits, and annexures.
• Coordinate with external advocates regarding filings, case updates, and document sharing.
• Maintain litigation trackers and case records.

Stamp Duty & Documentation

• Support determination of applicable stamp duty requirements for agreements across various states.
• Assist with e-stamping and physical stamping processes.
• Maintain stamp duty payment records and related documentation.

General Legal Support

• Conduct legal research on statutes, notifications, and judicial developments.
• Assist in maintaining legal document repositories and internal knowledge resources.
• Provide administrative support to the Legal & Compliance team as required.

Desired Skills and Knowledge

Mandatory

• Basic understanding of the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
• Foundational knowledge of RBI regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Awareness of court procedures and filing processes.
• Basic understanding of the contract execution lifecycle.
• Introductory knowledge of stamp duty laws and practices.

Good to Have

• Internship experience with a law firm, fintech company, NBFC, or corporate legal team.
• Familiarity with e-courts, filing portals, or regulatory websites.
• Good drafting and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and legal documentation tools.
