About Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (MPERC)

Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (MPERC) is a statutory body functioning under the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003. The Commission is discharging its functions under Section 86 of the Act which includes determination of electricity tariff, regulate power purchase and procurement process, grant of licenses and to adjudicate upon disputes. The Commission invites applications for Research Fellows (Law) on consultancy basis.

Eligibility and Experience

Bachelor degree in law from a reputed institution/University. The degree should have been acquired after 31-January 2019

Tenure

The Appointment of Research Fellow shall be on Consultancy basis, initially for a period of one year. However, the period of engagement may be extended as per requirement and on the discretion of the Commission.

Remuneration

The Research Fellow shall be entitled to a consolidated remuneration of ₹40,000/- (INR Forty Thousand only) per month. TDS shall be deducted as per relevant rules.
