Eligibility and Experience

0-3 years Post Qualification Experience (PQE)

LL.B. (LL.M. from reputed universities would be counted as 1 year PQE)

Roles and Responsibilities

It is multidisciplinary role for contentious issues. The primary practice areas are as under:

• Trade Remedies (anti-dumping, subsidies and safeguards);
• Ad-hoc and institutional arbitrations;
• Government Affairs (advice to various departments of Government of India on varies subject matter);
• Constitutional litigation before High Courts related to GST, local taxes, incentives by state governments, mining, land acquisition, etc.;
• WTO laws;
• Customs and regulatory laws.

Role Demands

Mandatory

• Sound understanding of fundamentals of law;
• Exceptional drafting skills;
• Eye for details.

Advantageous

• Advanced understanding of international trade laws;
• Advanced understanding of High Court practice and procedure;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ability to analyse large excel files).
