Caterpillar is seeking a skilled Senior Paralegal to join their Legal IP – India Division The preference for this role is to be based out of Chennai – Brigade World Trade Centre

Eligibility

3-year degree is required
5 years of relevant experience as patent paralegal handling patent enforcement and patent litigation matters is desired
This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office

Responsibilities

Assisting corporate legal attorneys in resolving advanced legal issues.
Conducting legal tasks, such as research, review, and drafting, under the supervision of corporate legal attorneys.
Audits, controls, and/or maintains repositories of legal documentation and procedures.
Collecting law sources for attorneys such as statutes, regulations, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles and legal codes for preparation of legal documents, such as pleadings, appeals, contracts, legal opinions, etc.
