About the Job 

Caterpillar is seeking a skilled Senior Paralegal to join their  Legal IP – India Division  The preference for this role is to be based out of Chennai – Brigade World Trade Centre

Eligibility

• 3-year degree is required
• 5 years of relevant experience as patent paralegal handling patent enforcement and patent litigation matters is desired
• This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office

Responsibilities

• Assisting corporate legal attorneys in resolving advanced legal issues.
• Conducting legal tasks, such as research, review, and drafting, under the supervision of corporate legal attorneys.
• Audits, controls, and/or maintains repositories of legal documentation and procedures.
• Collecting law sources for attorneys such as statutes, regulations, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles and legal codes for preparation of legal documents, such as pleadings, appeals, contracts, legal opinions, etc.
