Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd is hiring for the role of Senior Executive/Manager in its corporate legal and compliance team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing legal and compliance support across various business functions and affiliates of the company.

The role involves handling contract drafting, reviewing, negotiation, legal vetting, compliance advisory, and transaction support for different departments and corporate activities.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Planning and managing assigned legal functional responsibilities.
• Advising business teams on legal, compliance, pharmaceutical legal, regulatory, and liability-related matters.
• Drafting, reviewing, and vetting contracts and agreements related to:
• Mergers and Acquisitions
• Business Development
• Finance
• Research and Development
• Supply Chain operations
• In-licensing and Out-licensing
• Distribution
• Global API
• Quality functions
• Drafting, negotiating, and closing commercial documents required for transactions.
• Supporting acquisitions, investments, divestments, and other corporate development activities throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Conducting legal due diligence for potential targets under evaluation.
• Collaborating with global teams and senior stakeholders to achieve transaction objectives.
• Providing expert legal advice to business and support functions.
• Contributing to corporate legal and compliance initiatives, including:
• Policy development
• Process streamlining projects
• Legal training and development programmes
• Sharing and implementation of best practices
