About the Job
alt.f coworking is inviting applications for the position of Senior Legal Executive on a full-time basis. The role involves handling recovery and dispute matters, drafting and negotiating contracts, managing property and commercial agreements, and conducting legal due diligence and title reviews.
The selected candidate will work closely with external counsels, landlords, brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of legal and commercial processes.
Eligibility
Candidates applying for the role should meet the following requirements:
- BA LLB, BBA LLB, or LLB qualification.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an individual contributor in an in-house counsel role.
- Experience in handling store or centre launches from LOI signing to lease registration.
- Track record of independently closing at least 30+ lease transactions.
- Hands-on experience in handling civil courts, arbitration proceedings, and MSMEFC matters, including filings, hearings, and execution.
- Proficiency in Excel, trackers, e-filing portals, and basic legal technology tools.
- 2–5 year’s of Experience Required.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Managing end-to-end recovery actions, including demand notices, negotiations, and legal escalation processes.
- Handling litigation, arbitration, and MSMEFC matters with the assistance of external counsels.
- Maintaining case status trackers and ensuring timely filings and follow-ups.
- Drafting, vetting, redlining, and negotiating contracts and standard agreements.
- Ensuring version control and closure of all commercial and legal negotiation points.
- Drafting and finalising Lease Deeds, Leave and License Agreements, and MOUs aligned with business terms.
- Coordinating with landlords, brokers, and internal stakeholders for timely closure and registration of documents.
- Supporting negotiations to achieve commercially viable outcomes.
- Conducting property due diligence and identifying title, zoning, and compliance risks.
- Preparing risk notes related to ownership, encumbrances, and approvals.
Salary
The salary for the role ranges between ₹7,00,000 and ₹9,00,000 per annum.
