About the Job
Singhania & Partners LLP is inviting applications for the position of Senior Associate – Infrastructure as part of an Infrastructure Sector Consultancy Assignment.
The position falls under the category of Key Sub-Professional Staff – Infrastructure Sector Consultancy Assignment and reports to the Partner / Key Legal Expert.
The role will involve supporting the project team on legal matters arising during the consultancy assignment, with particular emphasis on legal vetting of project-related notices and documents.

Eligibility
- Degree from a reputed and recognised university or institution.
- Minimum average grade of 50% across undergraduate and postgraduate education.
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the roads/highways and infrastructure sector with public/private companies or government agencies.
- Experience in matters relating to:
- Dispute resolution.
- Legal vetting of notices, replies and other documents.
- Experience in a minimum of 2 relevant projects/cases is required.
- Candidates with up to 3 additional relevant projects/cases will be viewed favourably.
Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying, assessing and managing legal and contractual disputes arising during project implementation.
- Undertake legal vetting of project documents, including contracts, agreements and correspondence, to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
- Research applicable laws, regulations and precedents relevant to the infrastructure sector and the specific assignment.
- Prepare notes, opinions and briefs on legal issues for review by the Team Leader / Key Legal Expert.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of legal matters handled during the assignment.
