The inaugural session set a high-voltage tone for the three-day residential module. The atmosphere at CALSAR was palpable as researchers, doctoral scholars, and faculty gathered from across the country. The formal proceedings were inaugurated by Justice N. Kotiswar Singh (Judge, Supreme Court of India) as Chief Guest, alongside Justice C. S. Dias (Judge, High Court of Kerala) as Guest of Honour.

The dignitaries officially launched RMP 2.1 alongside key organizational leaders: Adv. Nagaraj Narayanan (Director, KLA), Prof. Anilkumar K. (Director, Administration, KLA), Prof. (Dr.) S. Bringing an international perspective, Justice Nawaz commended the vision of CLEA, MILAT, and Kerala Law Academy in fostering cross-border scholarly networks and raising legal research benchmarks across South Asia. As certificates were awarded, the residential training seamlessly transitioned into its next crucial phase: two weeks of one-on-one virtual mentoring followed by manuscript submission for peer-reviewed journal publication.
