About Saksham 2.0
SAKSHAM 2.0. is an extension of PROJECT SAKSHAM 1.0 run by Nek Mission Foundation from September 2022 to November 2022.
The said project was launched to provide free legal aid to the deprived section of society viz, women, children, elderly people, workers, alcoholics, and victims of drug abuse residing in five localities of Delhi NCR.
The project will be implemented in 12 areas covering all beneficiaries of past campaigns in addition to LGBTQ+ and Sex Workers.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Organizing Legal Awareness Camp
- Work on assisting seniors in field visits and helping report the slum situation
- Work on door-to-door surveying
- Organise interactive classes for underprivileged children and women
- Assist the organization in conducting distribution drives
- Maintain daily records of the field office and finish the weekly records
- Manage and resolve challenges arising from the field
Eligibility
Students in their UG and PG can apply for this project.
Duration
3 Months (Breaks will be provided during Semesters Exams)
Stipend
No Stipend During Project but according work performance you will get paid internship opportunity
