Patent Paralegal at S.S.RANA & Co.

Position: Patent Paralegal

Eligibility

• Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of patent laws, procedures, and filing requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and patent docketing/management systems.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and handle confidential information.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills related to patent matters.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patent attorneys in patent prosecution, filing, and portfolio management.
• Handling Patent queries
• Prepare, file, and manage patent applications (provisional, complete, PCT, national phase) with relevant patent offices.
• Monitor and manage patent deadlines, annuities, renewals, and FER responses.
• Maintain and update patent databases, docketing systems, and case files as per firm protocols.
• Assist in patent searches, prior art searches, and preparation of search reports.
• Draft routine patent-related documents, reports, and correspondence.
• Organize, index, and maintain patent records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in preparing documents for hearings, oppositions, or patent litigation matters, if applicable.
