About G20 Global Land Initiative
What is the G20 Land Initiative? In November 2020 the G20 leaders launched the “Global Initiative on Reducing Land Degradation and Enhancing Conservation of Terrestrial Habitats to prevent, halt, and reverse land degradation.” The initiative aims to support existing efforts to prevent, halt, and reverse land degradation and habitat loss through sharing of knowledge and best practices on protecting, conserving, sustainably managing, restoring, and rehabilitating degraded land, and by showcasing and disseminating publicly available data and information on degraded lands and conservation/restoration efforts.
About the Legal Internship Opportunity
The G20 Global Land Initiative is looking for interns with range of backgrounds for an international internship programme.
Eligibility
People with science, design, agriculture, forestry, communication background sought.
Roles and Responsibilities
Interns will have opportunity to work with some very senior international experts on the domain on land restoration.
