About The Conference

The Centre for Advanced Studies in Labour Welfare (CASLW) and the Centre for Advanced Studies in Human Rights (CASIHR), RGNUL, are jointly organising a One-Day National Conference on “The New Labour Codes: Prospective Concerns for Human Rights” on 20 March 2026 in hybrid mode. The conference aims to critically analyse India’s labour law reforms and their implications for labour welfare, dignity of labour, and human rights.

About Call For Papers

The Organising Committee invites original and unpublished research papers, articles, and case comments that engage critically with the theme of the conference. Submissions may adopt doctrinal, empirical, comparative, or interdisciplinary approaches and should contribute meaningfully to contemporary labour law and human rights discourse.

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract length: 250–300 words (maximum 4 keywords)
  • Full paper word limit: Maximum 5000 words
  • Co-authorship permitted up to two authors
  • Language: English only
  • Plagiarism limit: 10% (excluding footnotes and bibliography)
  • Submissions must be original and unpublished

Registration Fees

A consolidated registration and publication fee of ₹1000 (Rupees One Thousand only) is payable upon acceptance of the abstract. The fee is inclusive of all registration charges.

Registration Process

Participants whose abstracts are accepted shall be required to complete the registration by making payment of the registration fee through the mode specified by the organisers. Registration shall be confirmed upon receipt of payment.
