About the Organisation

Madhya Pradesh Youth Summit (MPYS) is a youth-led initiative organised by Vikrant University, Gwalior, designed to empower students through diplomacy, debate, and democratic engagement. MPYS is a space where ideas ignite, voices rise, and young changemakers shape the future.

About the Opportunity

MPYS 2025 offers delegates the chance to represent nations, media houses, and corporations in high-impact simulations. With a mix of intellectual rigour and cultural celebration, the summit is a launchpad for leadership and lifelong connections.

Theme

“मंच युवाओं का, कल मध्यप्रदेश का”
A call to action for youth to lead the discourse on Madhya Pradesh’s future while engaging with national and global challenges.

Committees & Agendas

  • Lok Sabha- Deliberation on Religious Conversions and Interfaith Violence in India, with emphasis on oppression of Hindus and other minorities
  • Bhartiya Mahila Sansad- Addressing the critical situation of women in India, focusing on domestic violence, honor crimes, and the need for gender-neutral laws
  • Historical Crisis Committee- Analyzing the Impact of the Emergency on Indian Democracy, with emphasis on unconstitutional actions
  • UNHRC- Censorship as a Weapon: Combating the Global Suppression and Killing of Journalists and Defending Press Freedom Worldwide
  • UNSC- Deliberating the Israel–Iran conflict, examining rising tensions in the Middle East and the role of the UNSC in conflict resolution
  • International Press (IP)- Photography, Journalism & Caricature – Exploring global challenges to ethical reporting and press freedom
  • Indian Premier League (IPL)- IPL Auction 2025 – Strategic simulation of team management and bidding dynamics

Each agenda is crafted to challenge perspectives, foster critical thinking, and promote inclusive dialogue.

Eligibility

  • Open to students from all academic backgrounds
  • No cap on institutional participation
  • Individual registration required
  • Portfolios allotted on a first-come, first-served basis, considering prior experience
