About the Job
Association for Protection of Civil Rights (APCR) is inviting applications for the position of Litigation Associate in New Delhi. The role is suited for young lawyers and fresh graduates interested in human rights, civil rights, and strategic litigation.
This is a hands-on opportunity involving drafting, research, court appearances, and litigation support under the guidance of experienced lawyers.
Eligibility
- B.A. LL.B. / LL.B. from a recognised university
- Enrolled with the State Bar Council (or in the process of enrollment)
- 0–2 years of experience
- Freshers are encouraged to apply
- Interest in justice, civil rights, and litigation work
Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, petitions, affidavits, and written submissions
- Conduct legal research on case laws and procedural aspects
- Assist senior lawyers in litigation strategy and case preparation
- Attend court proceedings and assist during hearings
- Maintain case files and track deadlines
- Coordinate filing and listing of matters before courts
- Liaise with clients, court officials, and stakeholders
