About the Job
The company is looking for an experienced and proactive legal professional to lead litigation and claims management for the Central and West Zones.
Department: Legal and Litigation
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end litigation and third-party claims for the Central and West Zones.
- Liaise with and oversee panel advocates to ensure quality legal representation.
- Review and approve legal documents, including written statements, affidavits, appeal memos, applications, objections, and police complaints.
- Monitor case progress, process judgments, and ensure timely legal action.
- Evaluate advocate performance and provide strategic recommendations to protect the organisation’s interests.
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. graduate with substantial experience in litigation and claims management.
- Strong understanding of civil and criminal litigation, court procedures, and legal documentation.
- Proven experience managing external counsel and handling complex legal matters.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple cases and teams effectively.
