Eligibility
- LL.M. in any one of the following disciplines:
- Maritime Law
- Public International Law
- Labour Law
- Contract Management
- Arbitration
- Minimum 1–2 years of post-qualification legal experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal support to the Directorate General of Shipping in matters relating to the Seafarers Welfare Fund Society (SWFS) and the Seamen’s Provident Fund Organisation (SPFO).
- Assist in strengthening the welfare, rights, and social security framework for India’s seafaring community.
- Support legal and regulatory functions relating to maritime governance.
Remuneration
₹60,000 per month (Consolidated)
