About the Job
Balaji Telefilms Ltd. is seeking an experienced legal professional to join its Digital Media business. The role involves working closely with business, creative, production, and leadership teams to provide legal support across content development, production, distribution, licensing, and commercial partnerships within the OTT and digital media space.
Eligibility
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Media & Entertainment Law.
- Strong experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing media and content-related agreements.
- Sound understanding of intellectual property, content rights, licensing, and regulatory matters relevant to the OTT and digital media industry.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements relating to content, production, talent engagement, licensing, and platform partnerships.
- Provide legal support across content development, production, distribution, and rights management activities.
- Advise internal stakeholders on legal, contractual, and regulatory issues.
- Support content partnerships, sponsorship arrangements, brand integrations, and other commercial transactions.
- Manage intellectual property documentation, rights records, legal databases, and contract repositories.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and identify potential business and compliance risks.
