IFFCO Tokio General Insurance is hiring in its TP Claims (Legal) department.
Position: Legal Officer / TP Claims Handler (TP Claims – Legal Department)
Eligibility
- LL.B. or LL.M.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in legal/claims handling
Responsibilities
- Handle Motor Accident Claim Petitions before MACT Courts, ECC, and High Courts across India
- Coordinate with panel advocates and investigators on assigned cases
- Scrutinize investigation reports to identify defendable and settleable claims
- Vet plaints, complaints, written statements, counter affidavits, and other legal documents
- Lead evidence before tribunals and district courts on behalf of the company
- Review performance of empaneled investigators and advocates
- Participate in Lok Adalat, conciliation, and mediation processes for settlement of claims
