ZEEL is hiring a Manager – Legal to provide end-to-end legal support for syndication and commercial transactions across distribution, digital monetisation, brand partnerships, and new business initiatives. The role requires expertise in commercial contracting, negotiation, stakeholder management, and legal risk mitigation.

Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized institution.
- LL.M. is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Excellent understanding of commercial, media, digital, and intellectual property laws.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical legal solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including advertising, sponsorship, content licensing, syndication, distribution, digital monetisation, influencer, branded content, revenue-sharing, and partnership agreements.
- Provide legal support to revenue, sales, content, programming, digital, finance, operations, and international business teams.
- Participate in commercial negotiations with clients and business partners.
- Identify legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with the Indian Contract Act, intellectual property laws, digital content regulations, the Information Technology Act, data privacy standards, and other applicable laws.
- Assist in resolving commercial disputes and support litigation or arbitration relating to commercial contracts.
- Maintain contract repositories, monitor renewals and contractual obligations, and support internal audits and compliance reviews.
- Conduct training sessions for business teams on legal clauses, contractual risks, and best practices.
