About the Job

Lupin is hiring a Manager – Legal to lead brand protection initiatives, coordinate enforcement actions, manage regulatory communication, and support legal and compliance functions. The role involves working closely with internal teams, external consultants, investigation agencies, and regulatory authorities to safeguard the company’s interests.

Eligibility

Candidates should possess:

• Post Graduation in Law.
• LL.B. with 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is preferred.
• Exposure to managing litigation will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Monitoring, updating, preparing, and maintaining lead trackers.
• Assessing leads received from distributors, customers, authorities, and other sources.
• Communicating with Licensing Authorities and Police Authorities, including filing FIRs where required.
• Liaising with regulators, pharmaceutical associations, and law enforcement agencies.
• Coordinating enforcement actions with internal teams and external consultants.
• Collaborating with legal, packaging, distribution, marketing, and sales teams to implement brand protection strategies.
• Conducting risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in the supply chain and distribution network.
• Identifying, onboarding, and coordinating with investigation agencies across India.
• Assessing investigation reports and evidence and obtaining necessary internal and external approvals.
• Initiating civil and/or criminal proceedings where applicable.
• Monitoring advancements in brand protection technologies and evaluating their implementation.
• Providing guidance and training as required.
• Preparing monthly reports for senior management and ensuring compliance.
