About the Job
Economic Laws Practice is hiring an Associate for its Infrastructure, Projects & Energy practice in Mumbai. The role involves work relating to electricity law disputes, infrastructure contracts, and due diligence for M&A transactions.
Eligibility
- LL.B. qualification.
- 1–3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong current knowledge of electricity and corporate laws.
Responsibilities
- Review Power Purchase Agreements and Shareholders Agreements.
- File and appear before electricity regulatory commissions, High Courts, and the Appellate Tribunal of Electricity in matters concerning electricity law disputes.
- Review infrastructure contracts, including government tender documents, EPC Agreements, Public-Private Partnership Concession Agreements, and FIDIC contracts.
- Assist in preparing due diligence reports for M&A transactions.
