About the Job

Agraa Legal is looking to hire talented, detail-oriented, and commercially minded Associates to join its Real Estate Practice in Bangalore. The role provides hands-on exposure to title due diligence, complex real estate transactions, land acquisition projects, and real estate advisory matters.

Eligibility

Candidates should possess a working knowledge of:

• Transfer of Property Act
• Indian Contract Act
• Laws relating to Probate, Succession, and Inheritance
• Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA)
• Karnataka Land Revenue Act
• Karnataka Land Reforms Act
• Stamp and Registration Laws
• Municipal and Planning Laws

Candidates with prior experience in title verification, title due diligence, real estate documentation, or property law advisory will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct title due diligence of agricultural, converted, residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
• Review title documents, revenue records, land acquisition records, and regulatory approvals.
• Prepare requisition lists, title reports, legal opinions, and transaction-related advisory notes.
• Draft and review Sale Deeds, Release Deeds, Gift Deeds, Joint Development Agreements, Development Management Agreements, Lease Deeds, Powers of Attorney, Mortgage Documents, and other transaction documents.
• Advise on issues relating to land laws, succession, inheritance, property rights, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct legal research and prepare written opinions on complex real estate matters.
• Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and transaction structuring discussions.
