About the Job

RST and Partners is looking for an entry-level Litigation Associate to join our practice in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have up to 1 year of litigation experience, a working knowledge of court procedures, and the confidence to appear as an advocate before the Honourable Bombay High Court and subordinate courts. This role offers hands-on exposure to pleadings, court appearances, client interaction, and hearing preparation under senior supervision.

Eligibility

• LL.B. and enrolled with the Bar Council.
• 0–1 year of litigation experience (internships included).
• Strong drafting, research and oral advocacy skills.
• Professional, organised and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment.
• Willingness to learn, take responsibility and participate actively in courtroom work.

Responsibilities

• Appear before the Honourable Bombay High Court and various subordinate courts in Mumbai.
• Draft and polish pleadings, applications, affidavits, legal notices and other court documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare concise research notes and hearing briefs.
• Assist in client meetings, case strategy discussions, and file management.
• Coordinate with court clerks, registry staff, and opposing counsel; ensure timely filings and procedural compliance.
