About the Job

Edictum Law and Co. is hiring an Associate for its litigation practice. The selected candidate will work on commercial litigation matters and will be involved in handling cases from inception to final disposal.

Associate – Litigation

Eligibility

Candidates applying for the role should have:

• 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in litigation
• Prior experience at a law firm or established chamber, preferably
• Experience in commercial litigation, including:
  • Arbitration
  • Insolvency matters
  • Specific performance disputes
  • Contractual disputes
• Exposure to proceedings before:
  • Supreme Court of India
  • High Courts
  • Tribunals
  • Sessions Courts
• Strong drafting skills relating to pleadings, applications, and written submissions
• Enrolment with the Bar Council of India
• An LL.B. degree from a recognised institution

Responsibilities

• Drafting pleadings and written submissions
• Appearing independently before courts and tribunals
• Briefing senior counsel
• Managing client communication
• Assisting with legal research and case preparation
• Working with junior colleagues on litigation matters
• Handling matters from inception to final disposition
