About the Job
Yokogawa is hiring for the position of Legal Counsel, Executive for its in-house legal team. The role involves providing legal guidance on contracts, compliance, regulatory matters, and manufacturing sector operations while supporting the organisation’s business objectives.
Eligibility
Candidates applying for the role should have:
- An LL.B. or LL.M. degree and admission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
- 1–3 years of legal experience handling contracts, compliance, labour, corporate, commercial, and environmental law matters
- Strong knowledge of contract, corporate, commercial, labour, and environmental laws
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to balance legal risks with business and operational priorities
Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with suppliers, distributors, and customers
- Advising on regulatory compliance, including environmental, health and safety, labour, and related laws
- Providing legal opinions and advisory support on business matters
- Handling manufacturing agreements, licensing arrangements, technology transfers, non-disclosure agreements, tenders, and commercial agreements
- Managing litigation matters and maintaining MIS records
- Ensuring compliance with applicable international, national, and regional laws
- Developing and implementing compliance training programmes
