About the Job

Mastercard is hiring for the position of Counsel within its Global Business Solutions Center (GBSC) Legal Services team.

The role focuses on end-to-end contract management, supporting business operations, and delivering efficient legal solutions across global markets.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end contract lifecycle from request to execution
• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts such as:
• NDAs and confidentiality agreements
• Software license and service agreements
• Consulting and vendor agreements
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, laws, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with business teams and subject matter experts
• Analyze contract terms and manage risk
• Deliver high-quality, timely legal support aligned with service standards
• Ensure compliance with Mastercard’s security policies
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of information
• Report any security concerns
• Complete mandatory security trainings

Eligibility

• LL.B. graduate
• Strong legal and business acumen
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Customer-focused mindset
• Experience with contract negotiation and commercial agreements
• Knowledge of international legal systems (US, EU, Middle East, APAC, etc.)
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and escalate issues appropriately
