About the Job

ExxonMobil Services & Technology Private Limited is hiring a Legal Counsel for its Law Department. The role involves handling a broad range of legal work across ExxonMobil’s business interests in India and other jurisdictions, including commercial agreements, compliance support, and legal advisory functions.

Eligibility

• Law degree from a reputable law school
• 3 to 6 years of post-qualification experience in providing corporate or business legal advice in a law firm or in-house legal department
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong analytical and research skills with sound business judgment
• Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated team
• Strong relationship-building skills, initiative, and a pragmatic approach

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

• Experience in a multinational corporate legal department
• Experience providing legal support in the oil and gas industry
• Demonstrated leadership and initiative
• Company Secretary qualification is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and related documents
• Providing compliance support and legal advice on various aspects of company operations
• Supporting business activities across jurisdictions
• Advising on corporate and commercial legal matters
