The Directorate of Enforcement, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, New Delhi invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement/hiring as Legal Consultant on short term contract basis to assist the Directorate in the discharge of its functions under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (FEMA), the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA). Fugitive Economic Offender Act 2018. Foreign Exchange Regulation Act (FERA), 1973 (since repealed) and related legislation for its offices located at all over India.

About the Job

Applications are invited for hiring Legal Consultants on short term contract basis in the Directorate of Enforcement of its various office all over India.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a National Law School or a recognized University or equivalent. The candidates are required to submit/attach the experience certificate issued by the Bar Association in support of the claim of practice.

Minimum experience of 3 years at Bar/ Court dealing with any Criminal and Fiscal Law.

NOTE: Candidates having LLM degree may be given additional weightage.
