About the Job

Urna is seeking a Legal Associate to support our legal and compliance functions across documentation, advisory, regulatory alignment, and transaction support. The role requires a strong understanding of legal frameworks, due diligence, risk assessment, and hands-on experience in both litigation and dispute resolution. The candidate will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure all legal matters are managed efficiently and accurately.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); additional certification in property/real estate law is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience, with strong exposure to real estate transactions.
• Experience in litigation and non-litigation matters, with strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and sound understanding of regulatory frameworks in real estate.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review legal agreements, contracts, and real estate documentation.
• Provide legal advisory and compliance guidance for projects and regulatory matters.
• Assist in litigation management and coordination with external counsel.
• Conduct in-depth legal research on laws, precedents, and regulatory updates.
• Support due diligence activities, including title verification and transaction documentation.
• Liaise with internal departments, authorities, and third parties to resolve legal issues.
• Maintain organized documentation, statutory records, and compliance trackers.
