About the Job

PON Law Associates is an established law firm located near the Madras High Court, Chennai, dedicated to providing effective legal representation and client-focused solutions. They are currently expanding our team and looking for a motivated Legal Associate to join them.

This is an excellent opportunity for young advocates who are passionate about litigation and eager to build a strong foundation in court practice, drafting, and client servicing.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); enrollment with the Bar Council is mandatory.
• 0–1 years of relevant experience (internship or prior litigation exposure is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of law and legal procedures.
• Proficiency in legal drafting and document preparation.
• Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage responsibilities independently and work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Appear before courts and tribunals, primarily in and around the Madras High Court.
• Draft legal documents including petitions, affidavits, written submissions, and agreements.
• Coordinate with clients for case updates, hearings, and document collection.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case briefs, notes, and updates.
• Assist senior lawyers with case preparation, filings, and court procedures.
