About the Job

GeekyAnts is hiring a Legal Associate who will be responsible for managing legal documentation, compliance, and risk management while supporting business operations through legal advisory and documentation.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (3-year or 5-year LL.B.).
• PQE 0-2 Yrs
• Internship/work experience at a reputed law firm or company is required.
• Candidates with internship/work experience with the corporate legal team of an IT consulting/services business will be preferred.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Good command over drafting legal contracts and documents.
• Well-versed with Corporate Laws, Labour Laws, and legal drafting.
• Ability to keep abreast with latest regulatory changes and compliance requirements.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and administer company-related contracts and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments to fulfil legal requirements.
• Research, foresee, and protect the company against legal risks.
• Liaise with external advisers and consultants.
• Assist in developing legal frameworks, processes, and policies.
• Assist the company in formalities pertaining to legal proceedings, if any.
• Handle ad hoc legal requirements, including visa and insurance documentation.
