About the Job
GeekyAnts India Pvt Ltd is inviting applications for the position of Legal Associate to support the organisation’s legal documentation, compliance activities, and corporate legal matters.
The role involves handling contracts, ensuring legal compliance, maintaining legal records, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external legal consultants. The selected candidate will also assist in legal research, risk identification, and policy development.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (3-year or 5-year integrated LLB) from a recognised university
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in a corporate legal function
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and vet company-related contracts and legal documents
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Coordinate with internal departments for legal requirements
- Assist in developing legal frameworks, processes, and company policies
- Maintain and manage legal records, contracts, and documentation
- Liaise with external legal counsel and consultants when required
- Identify legal risks and provide recommendations
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of contract drafting and legal documentation
- Knowledge of corporate laws, labour laws, and legal drafting
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
