About the Job
Role: Legal Associate
As a Legal Associate, you will play a critical role in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts, managing litigation, and ensuring compliance with data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, DPDP Act).
Eligibility
- Experience: 3-4 years
- Qualification: LLB
- 3-4 years of experience in contract & litigation management (in-house or law firm).
- Strong understanding of contract law, commercial law, and IP laws.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and research skills.
- Experience in the IT, ITES, or Service industry preferred.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (NDAs, MSAs, SaaS, Vendor & Partnership Agreements).
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Finance, Engineering) to provide legal guidance.
- Manage litigation, coordinate with external counsel, and oversee case progress.
- Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain and organize legal documentation.
