About the Job

Legasis Partners – Advocates and Solicitors is hiring Associate and Senior Associate for BKC office (offline) in Mumbai. You will have the opportunity to work on corporate mandates and commercial transactions including M&A, private equity, cross-border deals, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and much more, across industries.

Eligibility

• LL.B (Bachelor of Legislative Law) degree from a recognized institution, either a five-year integrated program or a three-year program
• enrolled with the Bar Council of India to practice law
• LL.M/ MSc. from a recognized institution (optional)

Job Title: Associate – Corporate and Commercial Team

PQE of minimum 1-3 years of working in large or medium size law firms

Job Title: Senior Associate – Corporate and Commercial Team

PQE of minimum 3-5 years of working in large or medium size law firms

Responsibilities

Associate 

• Possessing adequate knowledge of securities laws, capital market, general corporate and commercial laws and judicial pronouncements;
• Preparing legal opinions on intricate issues relating to securities laws and other incidental laws;
• Preparing and reviewing corporate and commercial agreements and documents;
• Assisting the team in transactions and deals;
• Possessing ‘client-focused’ approach.

Senior Associate

• Possessing adequate knowledge of securities laws, capital market, M&A transactions, banking laws, international laws, general corporate/commercial and regulatory laws and judicial pronouncements;
• Preparing legal opinions on intricate issues relating to securities laws and other incidental laws;
• Preparing and reviewing corporate and commercial agreements and documents;
• Assisting the team in transactions and deals;
• Possessing ‘client-focused’ approach.
